BMW M1 Homage video has been released for the first time by German manufacturer. Unveiled at the 2008 Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, the BMW M1 Homage concept car was designed to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the legendary M1.
The BMW M1 Homage is a blend between Giorgio Giugiaro’s original design of the M1 and the concept of Paul Bracq. The BMW M1 Homage is built as a source of inspiration for the BMW Design team, and features a crash box, similar to the monocoque chassis of a Formula One race car.

BMW M3 CSL Loaded is Faster than Pagani Zonda F
Did you remember that back in October the Pagani Zonda F established a 7:27:82 lap record on the Nurburgring race track? This record makes Pagani Zonda F as the fastest production car. Recently, the Swedish BMW tuner Loaded announced today that their modified BMW M3 CSL established a 7:22:09 seconds on the Nordschleife (Nurburgring). This would make the Loaded BMW M3 CSL as the fastest production (modified) car and the fastest road legal BMW in the world. The Loaded BMW M3 CSL had Richard Goransson at the wheel. It is based on the BMW M3 CSL E46 that has been supercharged and now develops 600 hp....

BMW has announced a new open source Telematics Protocol - called BMW NGTP ( BMW Next Generation Telematics Protocol ) developed in collaboration with Connexis LLC and WirelessCar. The BMW NGTP Next Generation Telematics Protocol will be presented at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. The BMW NGTP offers the ability to access new services without the hassle of making technical adjustments inside the vehicle. BMW has teamed up with Google, the worlds most frequented internet portal, to offer a unique function on its cars. Now BMW cars specified with Bluetooth telephone preparation and satellite navigation will come as standard with a new advanced BMW ConnectedDrive system using Google to make route planning even easier. Prior to any journey the driver of a new BMW can now log on to www.maps.google.co.uk from his PC, find their intended destination in advance and send it to their car. The move means drivers save time on the road with the exact destination and contact details stored in the car for future use. The Google feature has been introduced at the same time as an innovative news feed function. A BMW driver can have up to 10 differently sourced RSS news feeds sent to the car. An owner can also view the weather outlook via the car. The new-look BMW ConnectedDrive package is free of charge to owners for three years....
