Hyundai HED-5 Concept Car

Hyundai HED-5 concept car will be showcased at the 2008 Geneva Motor Show with a whole range of Eco-Dynamic vehicles and the new Matrix. The Hyundai HED-5 is a new six-seater that shows a versatile MPV which offering a great level of fuel efficiency.
For developing the Hyundai HED-5 concept, the revolutionary materials and construction techniques employed have been made in collaboration with Bayer, Recaro, and LG.
However, the Hyundai stand will also present the 2008 Matrix at the 2008 Geneva Motor Show, which has been updated for both exterior and interior.

Jeep Renegade Concept Car
The Jeep Renegade concept was displayed at the 2008 Detroit Motor Show. The Renegade concept is powered by a new electric drivetrain which Chrysler put in two other concepts shown at Detroit. The system is called ENVI, and in the Renegade concept it comprises of two 268 horsepower electric motors (one on each axle) powered by lithium ion batteries. Hyundai HED-5 i-mode has been revealed by Hyundai as a six-seater MPV study at the Geneva Motor Show. The Hyundai HED-5 i-mode concepts signals the debut of the 2.2-litre R diesel engine with two-stage turbocharging and premieres an unique Swivel Seat concept. Iconic GTR, an all-American high performance luxury super sports car has been built by Iconic Motors. Powered by a 6.9 liter all aluminum V8 engine that developed by Iconic, the Iconic GTR outputs more than 800 hp and has a maximum speed of more than 200 mph. Equipped with an F1 derived racing suspension and has a torsional rigidity that approaches 80%, the Iconic GTR comes with an Iconic patented gas cap control system, gear shifter and door hinges. Unfortunately, there is no information on the price on the official website and it says only 100 Iconic GTR roadsters will be built for market....

The IDEA ERA show car will have its official debut on May 19 and 20 this year at the Automotive News Europe Congress in Turin. The IDEA ERA show car is built by the Italian design institute to celebrate its 30th year of activity. At the moment The IDEA ERA show car is not equipped with an engine yet. However, the IDEA ERA is a roadster designed for pure driving pleasure. The IDEA ERA can carry up to 300 HP with a 4 or 6 cylinder front engine. The engine can be coupled with a manual or sequential gearbox with 5/6 gears. The possibilities for IDEA ERA’s engine are transverse for front-wheel drive and longitudinal engine for rear-wheel drive....

The Italdesign Quaranta concept car was designed to celebrate Italdesign Giugiaro’s forty years of business in styling and technological research. The Italdesign Quaranta concept car was inspired by the Bizzarrini Manta concept from 1968. But in reality The Italdesign Quaranta concept has a lot more in common with the Volta concept created by Italdesign for Toyota in 2004. The Quaranta uses a 3.3 litre V6 Toyota engine with Hybrid Synergy Drive to provide 268 horsepower and 212 lb-ft of torque. The innovative aspect of this engine lies in the ability of the electronic control system to regulate the power distributed by the electric motors to the wheels, making the clutch-gearbox-transmission block superfluous. The batteries which power the electric motors are located between the engine compartment and the cockpit. Ken Okuyama Design introduced two new limited production cars at Geneva Motor Show. The concept cars called the K.O 7 and the K.O 8. The K.O 7 becomes the K.O 8 with the roof and fender modules. Powered by a 2.0 liter 4 cylinder engine, The K.O 7 may develops 240ps at 8300 rpm and 21kgm of torque at 7000 rpm. In the future, Ken Okuyama Design give a promise to make an electric version of the K.O 7. Unfortunately, The K.O 7 will be built in a limited volume of 99 units per year only.
