Ken Okuyama Design Concept Cars





 

Ken Okuyama Design introduced two new limited production cars at Geneva Motor Show. The concept cars called the K.O 7 and the K.O 8. The K.O 7 becomes the K.O 8 with the roof and fender modules.


Powered by a 2.0 liter 4 cylinder engine, The K.O 7 may develops 240ps at 8300 rpm and 21kgm of torque at 7000 rpm. In the future, Ken Okuyama Design give a promise to make an electric version of the K.O 7. Unfortunately, The K.O 7 will be built in a limited volume of 99 units per year only.

KEN OKUYAMA DESIGN, Industrial design studio and coachbuilder, introduces 2 limited production cars at 2008 Geneva Motor Show on March 4th at its own stand.


K.O 7, a Spartan spider, which becomes K.O 8 with roof and fender module, are built on the original chassis with lightweight carbon fiber and aluminum at 750kg, with 240ps 2000cc 4 cylinder engine.


Built in limited volume of 99 units per year at MODI, it will have unique body style and specifications each year.


Future line-up will add electric motor version as demonstrated in K.O 8. Collaboration with TAG Heuer made it possible to demonstrate something in common between 2 different industries ; the endless quest for the quality. The interior of K.O 7 was inspired by Grand Carrera, and is mounted on dashboard as a chronograph.

Kia SOUL Concepts
 Kia unveiled three Soul concept cars at the Geneva motor Show. They are: Kia SOUL Diva, Kia SOUL Burner and Kia SOUL Searcher. The Kia SOUL Diva targets a style-conscious young-at-heart woman and comes in a combination of black, white and gold. The Kia SOUL Burner is the bad boy between the three concepts and comes with dragon tattoos over a black satin paintwork. Lamborghini Ferruccio Concept Car
 The Lamborghini Ferruccio is a concept for supercar, created independently from Lamborghini by Pule Magau of Magvisio. The concept is named after the founder of Automobile Lamborghini, Ferruccio Lamborghini. Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4
 The Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 (the LP refers to the engine positioning, longitudinale posteriore, the ‘560′ to the engines power output, and the ‘4′ refers the four-wheel-drive) was unveiled at the 2008 Geneva Motor Show. The LP560-4 is a facelifted version of Lamborghini’s entry-level supercar, like the LP640 version of the Murcielago. The visible changes include new aerodynamics comprising of new, more aggressive front and rear bumpers, revised headlights, taillights and rear facia, and new air inlets just forward of the front wheels.  There are various websites have reported, that the Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera production has been ended today. The Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera was always meant to be a limited production model and probably the Italian manufacturer needs the facilities to build the new Gallardo LP560-4. Powered by a 5.0 liter 10 cylinders engine that develops 522 hp at 8000 rpm and 510 Nm of torque at 4250 rpm, the Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera has top speed 315 km/h and 100 km/h come in 3.8 seconds. For comparison, the new Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 that will take its place is more powerful, has a top speed of 325 km/h and reaches 100 km/h one tenth of a second faster....
