The Mercedes E 300 BLUETEC is available as the cleanest and most economical diesel in the executive class.
The Mercedes E 300 BLUETEC’s power has been decreased from 165 kW/ 224 hp to 155 kW/211 hp in order to lower its emissions and to improve consumption of the fuel. The Mercedes E 300 BLUETEC remains the 540 Nm at 1600 - 2400 rpm.
The combined consumption for the Mercedes E 300 BLUETEC is between 7.2 liters and 7.5 liters of diesel per 100 km.
BLUETEC had been honoured by the jurors from 22 countries as the pacemaker for a new, particularly clean diesel technology. BLUETEC is also used in commercial vehicles, where this technology has been proving its effectiveness since early 2005 and is now available for all model series. Mercedes-Benz has already delivered more than 60,000 trucks and buses featuring this trailblazing emissions control system.
