Divided in three lines: Retro, GTI, and Outdoor - the 2008 Volkswagen Collection is available online at www.volkswagenmerchandise.co.uk. However, you can get anything there if you’re a VW fan.

Volkswagen has launched a new website – www.volkswagenmerchandise.co.uk – from which customers can browse, select and purchase a wide variety of approved merchandise, from badges and pens to bikes and sledges, for home delivery.
A number of new ranges have recently been launched, appealing to Volkswagen enthusiasts, including the Retro, GTI and Outdoor Collections.
The Retro Collection goes back to the roots of the company with four main lines:
Mainstagers: aimed at festival goers, based around the ‘Volkswagen til I die’ line
Weekenders: uses the iconic split screen bus image to evoke a ‘laid-back’ feel of days gone byBoardwalkers: Samba bus inspired selection for lovers of sand, sea, surf and style
Enthusiasts: draws inspiration from the cult Volkswagen adverts of the 1960s
All the items – from T-shirts and vests through stickers, beach bags and keyrings to ‘chopper’ style bikes – are of a high quality and designed to be eye-catching, attractive and loved by classic Volkswagen devotees everywhere.
The GTI Range is a must for fans of Volkswagen’s iconic sports hatch. Using the black, grey and red colour scheme from the car’s upholstery, a huge variety of items is available. These include pens, beanie hats, bags, keyrings and watches, as well as the ingenious and beautifully-designed GTI sledge.
The Volkswagen Collection includes classic ‘corporate’ merchandise such as cuff links, pens, model cars and wallets, as well as more unusual items such as a Tiguan ride-on quad bike for children, a battery-powered Beetle and remote controlled Golf.
Finally, the Outdoor Collection offers a selection of items to make a perfect day out on the beach, for a picnic or on holiday. Whether you need boot and hand warmers, a mini-stool or a full picnic set with fleece blanket, there’s a Volkswagen item for you.
The on-line shop is clear and easy to use, with postage and packing options to suit the customer. A single £3.95 charge sees the items sent via Royal Mail to arrive within two to fives days of dispatch, or for an additional £2.00, Volkswagen can offer a special delivery service which is normally delivered within 24 hours of the order being placed. Some larger items including the bike and the sledge command a premium which is displayed at the on-line checkout. Volkswagen has introduce a revised common rail diesel engine that powers the 2008 Volkswagen Touareg 3.0 V6 TDI in the UK. The 2008 Volkswagen Touareg 3.0 V6 TDI now develops 240 PS (15 PS more than the previous version) and 406 lbs ft of torque. The power upgrade has lowered the 0 to 62 mph acceleration time of the 2008 Volkswagen Touareg 3.0 V6 TDI to 8.3 seconds.
