Koenigsegg has created a Limited Edition version of its sought after cars, due to request from certain Koenigsegg Clients and Customers. The Koenigsegg Edition comes in the CCX and CCXR models, both types are limited versions. Together with many other unique features, it features a 5.0L twin supercharged Koenigsegg engine. As it has stiffer springs and anti-roll bars, reset dampers and lowered chassis, the car is more track biased compared to the standard models. It also features larger front splitter and side strakes for increased down force and a unique forged wheel design, and a fully visible carbon body a large adjustable rear wing. The interior is also reworked and features; color matched leather carpets, Edition side step plates, Edition chronograph instrument cluster, New edition only layout for the center consol control panels. The Koenigsegg CCX and CCXR Edition were announced back in November last year, but their public debut will take place at this year’s Geneva Motor Show. Powered by a 4.8 liter engine 888 bhp when run on petrol and 1018 bhp when run on E85, the Koenigsegg CCXR Edition has a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time of 2.9 seconds and 0 to 200 km/h in 8.9 seconds. The top speed for the Koenigsegg CCX/CCXR Edition is more than 417 km/h. The Koenigsegg CCX Edition has the same 0-100 km/h acceleration time, but 200 km/h comes just a little slower - 9.2 seconds. The top speed is also lower - 400 km/h. The Koenigsegg CCX Edition price starts at 1,330,000 Euros and the Koenigsegg CCXR Edition price will be at 1,500,000 Euros.
